The role focuses on building strong engineering teams, improving lifecycle efficiency, and delivering high-quality solutions in the Medicaid technology space. Collaboration with delivery and product managers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Technical leadership experience.
• Project management planning experience (1–3 years).
• Technical Medicaid experience (3–5 years).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction to the software engineers within the IT Applications Development team for design, development, and integration.
• Define priorities to align with the Software Engineering practice vision and goals.
• Ensure staff follow best practices across the software lifecycle.
• Lead hiring, performance management, and other personnel actions.
• Collaborate with delivery and product managers to support product delivery and enhancements.
• Recruit and retain top engineering talent and manage distributed teams.
