Maximus is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead a high performing team delivering innovative IT applications. This strategic role guides engineers across multiple projects, ensuring design, development, and integration meet business needs.

You will collaborate with delivery and product managers to drive high-quality, scalable solutions in the Medicaid technology space. This remote role includes 10% travel and a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 7+ years of experience.
• Project management planning experience (1-3 years) required.
• Technical Medicaid experience (3-5 years) required.
• Maintenance & Operation experience required.
• Technical leadership experience required.
• Continuing process improvement experience preferred.
• Managing cross functional teams preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic direction to software engineers within IT Applications Development.
• Define priorities for the Software Engineering practice to meet goals.
• Ensure staff follow best practices across design, development, and integration throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead hiring, performance management, and personnel actions.
• Improve software lifecycle time by enhancing requirements quality and design efficiency.
• Manage Software Engineering staff as a shared service across multiple projects.
• Ensure engineers have tools and training to support project needs.
• Coordinate geographically distributed staff to maximize utilization.
• Collaborate with delivery and product managers to support product delivery and enhancements.
• Drive engineering recruiting to attract and retain top talent.
