Ford Motor Company’s EVDD team seeks a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead software engineering managers delivering end-to-end software for millions of drivers and fleets.

You will guide technical direction, ensure high-quality delivery, and foster a collaborative environment while partnering with product, design and engineering to prioritize requirements and drive innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 12 years of software development experience with proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C, Go).
• 5 years in a senior leadership role managing people and delivering software products to market.
• 5 years leading teams building customer-facing browser-based applications with UI/UX emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering managers and their teams delivering end-to-end software products from conception to production.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery to ensure on-time, within-budget, and high-quality outputs.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering partners to define project requirements and priorities.
• Drive engineering delivery improvements, reduce cycle time, and enhance security posture.
• Participate in recruiting, design reviews, and architecture assessments.
