Ford Motor Company’s Vehicle Care engineering team is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a 5–10 person software group, own the technical strategy, and partner with product and design to deliver customer-focused software across Ford and Lincoln apps, dealer tools, and in-vehicle surfaces.

You will coach engineers, shape architecture, ensure reliability and observability, and drive end-to-end delivery with a pragmatic, scalable approach that accelerates value for millions of customers while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, incl. 3+ years directly managing software engineers.
• Proven ability to hire, develop, and lead engineering teams.
• Experience creating a healthy team environment that is supportive, challenging, inclusive, and accountable.
• Strong technical judgment grounded in experience building and operating complex software systems at scale.
• Experience leading significant technical initiatives with dependencies and impact across multiple teams.
• Ability to partner closely with product, design, data science, and business stakeholders to define, deliver, and measure product outcomes.
• Pragmatic approach to architecture and design, with a preference for simple, extensible solutions.
