Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Senior Site Activation Manager II to lead start-up and site activation across complex clinical studies in a remote capacity. You will work with sponsors, regulatory teams, and sites to ensure compliant, timely startup activities and efficient delivery.

You will identify risks, manage timelines, and mentor colleagues while supporting process improvements and best practices in site activation across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant scientific field or equivalent clinical research experience.
• 7+ years in CRO/pharma, with start-up/site management experience.
• Strong leadership, planning, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee study start-up and site activation activities across assigned projects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for site activation deliverables, timelines, and performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure critical path activities are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor site identification, qualification, essential document collection, regulatory submissions, and contract progression.
• Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies; escalate issues as needed to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track and communicate site activation metrics and project status to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain site activation plans with accurate scope and budgets.
• Contribute to proposals, budgets, and business development activities related to site activation.
• Coach and mentor Site Activation Managers and support SOP improvements.
