Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits, reverse engineer vulnerability techniques, and develop automation tools. You will produce threat intel with actionable mitigation guidance and collaborate across teams to track adversaries and campaigns.

The role emphasizes strong writing, experience with Windows and other OS platforms, and the use of AI-assisted tooling to accelerate vulnerability research.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques for userspace and kernel vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Strong understanding of Windows and other OS platforms.
• Experience with reverse engineering tools and processes.
• Programming/scripting in Python; ability to use AI-assisted tools for research.
• Excellent writing skills; ability to convey complex findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Research exploits observed in the wild and document techniques.
• Develop tooling to automate exploit analysis tasks.
• Create classification frameworks for intrusion activity based on vulnerabilities.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports with mitigation guidance.
