Job summary

CrowdStrike Intelligence is seeking a motivated security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits and study intrusion techniques. This is a defensive role focusing on vulnerability and exploit analysis, reverse engineering, and actionable threat intelligence.

You will develop automation for exploit analysis, build classification schemes for attribution, and contribute to mitigation strategies while briefing diverse audiences across CrowdStrike teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques for userspace and kernel vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of at least two operating systems, including Windows.
• Strong reverse engineering, malware unpacking and code logic reconstruction.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to brief complex results.

Responsibilities

• Research and track exploits observed in the wild to support defense.
• Develop host/network signatures for large-scale hunting and detection.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports with actionable mitigation guidance.
• Collaborate across CrowdStrike teams to inform mitigation strategies and products.
• Brief customers and stakeholders as needed via multiple channels.
