Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly skilled Security Researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits and contribute to adversary tracking within the Intelligence team. The role emphasizes reverse engineering, exploitation techniques, and producing actionable threat intelligence.

The position requires strong writing, collaboration across teams, and a deep understanding of Windows and network exploitation techniques. Remote with potential travel; MA/MS in CS or related field preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques that are commonly seen in exploits for userspace and kernel-level vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of at least two operating system platforms, including Microsoft Windows.
• Familiarity with standard web-based exploitation vectors.
• Excellent writing skills are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop threat intelligence reporting for various audiences with actionable guidance.
• Collaborate across teams to inform activity and support mitigation strategies.
• Brief complex technical analyses to different audiences as needed.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reporting with clear mitigation steps.
