Job summary

Blackwall, an AI-enabled security and web infrastructure company, seeks a senior, partner-facing Sales Engineer to accelerate US growth. This role partners with Sales, Tech Ops, and Product to design, validate, and deploy solutions within partner environments, from qualification to PoC and production readiness.

You will lead technical engagements, assess infrastructure, web traffic architectures and security layers, and present tailored proposals to senior partners.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in solutions engineering, architecture, or pre-sales.
• Experience with hosting/CDNs/MSPs or web-scale platforms.
• Knowledge of web traffic architecture (reverse proxies, security layers).
• Led complex technical engagements including PoC and integrations.
• Able to operate at architectural level and in hands-on discussions.
• Worked closely with Sales and understood deal cycles.
• Credible with senior technical stakeholders and partners.
• Self-sufficient and able to operate in a fast-paced scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Partner with US Sales to own the technical dimension of partner acquisition.
• Lead technical discovery with partners about infrastructure and business models.
• Design solution architectures aligned with capabilities and environments.
• Lead PoC phases with Tech Ops to ensure deployable solutions.
• Identify technical risks and define mitigation strategies.
• Support solution positioning via demonstrations and tailored proposals.
• Engage with partners via calls, on-site meetings, and events as the technical face.
• Deliver technical enablement and training sessions to partners and customers.
• Collaborate with Tech Ops and Partner Success for production transition.
• Provide input to Product/Engineering based on recurring requirements.
