Ladders is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join a leader in the IT space focused on identity security solutions. You will serve as a trusted technical partner to the sales team, guiding discovery, shaping designs, and demonstrating how modern access architectures solve real business problems for enterprise organizations.

This remote role is US-based with no visa sponsorship. The position also offers influence over field strategy, lead Proofs of Value efforts, and growth within a specialist

Qualifications

• 5+ years in pre-sales Solutions Engineering or Sales Architecture, with 3 years in IAM or PAM
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Hands-on expertise in IAM and PAM, with knowledge of zero trust and JIT access principles
• Strong command of identity protocols like SAML, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0, with experience in Okta or Active Directory
• Experience with PAM platforms such as CyberArk or StrongDM, and familiarity with cloud IAM models
• Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including Linux, Windows, and common databases
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for runtime authorization across all segments
• Partner with Account Executives to identify and accelerate runtime authorization opportunities
• Lead technical discovery to uncover underlying access issues and connect them to business outcomes
• Challenge existing access architectures and propose demonstrably better designs
• Deliver tailored demonstrations and handle unscripted questions during presentations
• Drive Proofs of Value from scoping to documented technical wins
• Develop solution designs, including architecture diagrams and deployment plans
