Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Senior Real Estate Acquisitions Specialist to lead sourcing, underwriting, and closing of lucrative property acquisitions. You will analyze markets, build relationships with brokers, and drive negotiations end-to-end from initial contact through closing, all while working autonomously from a remote setting in South Africa.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in real estate acquisitions, development, or investment banking with focus on real estate.
Strong skills in financial modeling, DCF, and valuation techniques.

Responsibilities

Source and identify potential real estate acquisition targets aligned with investment strategy across property types and markets.
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, underwriting, market studies, and valuation of potential acquisitions.
Lead negotiations for purchase agreements, terms, and conditions with favorable outcomes.
Manage the acquisition process from initial contact and due diligence through closing.
Build relationships with brokers, owners, developers, and other real estate professionals to generate deal flow.
Prepare investment proposals for the Investment Committee and coordinate with legal counsel.
