Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Senior Quantity Surveyor for a fully remote role. You will manage costs from feasibility to final accounts, prepare estimates and budgets, and administer BoQs and contract conditions across international construction projects.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, professional accreditation, and strong negotiation and communication skills for remote collaboration with global teams. Welkom-based benefits and flexible work may apply.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Professional accreditation preferred (SACQSP, RICS).
• 7+ years of experience in quantity surveying and cost management across diverse projects.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and control project costs throughout the entire project lifecycle, from inception to completion.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction projects.
• Develop and administer tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and contract conditions.
• Evaluate and negotiate tender submissions, advising on contractor selection.
• Monitor project expenditure, identify potential cost overruns, and implement effective cost-saving measures.
• Valuation of interim payments, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Provide expert advice on contractual matters, procurement strategies, and risk management.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on financial matters.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and performance analysis for project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, contract terms, and company policies.
