Job summary

Outsourced is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a permanent homebased role. You will prepare take-offs and bid proposals for construction projects, analyze drawings and specs, and manage cost estimates as part of a collaborative team.

The role requires 7+ years of quantity surveying experience, proficiency with Bluebeam and MS Office, and strong communication skills. The position supports a remote setup with provided equipment and high-speed internet expectations.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 7 years' experience performing quantity surveys with advanced knowledge of means and methods.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably from MAPUA University or Adamson University.
• Proficient in estimating software Bluebeam and all MS Products (MS Word, Excel, Power Point), and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must have extensive knowledge in reading plans, details, and specifications. Must exhibit detail-oriented focus and precision.

Responsibilities

• Understand scope of onsite/offsite concrete construction projects from plans/specs; analyze docs for quantity takeoffs (time, materials, labor, schedule).
• Oversee bid proposals and takeoff quantities; ensure estimates match drawings, standards, and specs from client.
• Analyze alternative solutions and value engineering to improve bid competitiveness.
• Present estimates and participate in bid reviews with senior management for accuracy.
• Generate reports for senior management and participate in weekly bid/proposals meetings.
