Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and control project costs throughout the entire project lifecycle, from inception to completion.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction projects.
• Develop and administer tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and contract conditions.
• Evaluate and negotiate tender submissions, advising on contractor selection.
• Monitor project expenditure, identify potential cost overruns, and implement effective cost-saving measures.
• Valuation of interim payments, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Provide expert advice on contractual matters, procurement strategies, and risk management.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on financial matters.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and performance analysis for project stakeholders.

About the Role

You will be responsible for all aspects of cost management, from initial feasibility studies and budget estimation through to final account settlement. • Proven experience in preparing detailed Bills of Quantities, cost plans, and tender evaluations.
• Strong knowledge of various forms of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, JBCC).
• Proficiency in cost management software and relevant estimating tools.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities, essential for remote collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
