GitLab is seeking a Senior Manager, PubSec Renewal Team to build a predictable renewal business across Federal, State, Local, and Education accounts. You will lead Renewal Managers, coach leaders, and strengthen forecasting and operating discipline to help public sector customers realize value from GitLab.

You’ll move between strategy and execution, discussing multi-million-dollar renewals with executives, guiding managers through customer scenarios, inspecting forecast data, and coordinating

Qualifications

• Experience leading renewals or related B2B software functions.
• Proven ability to develop talent and improve team performance.
• Track record of predictable retention, renewal, and forecast outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Renewal Managers.
• Own renewal operating rhythm and forecast accuracy.
• Run a consistent weekly forecast process from contributors to leadership.
• Maintain forward-looking view of renewal risks with mitigation plans.
• Lead Public Sector risk reviews and cross-functional action plans.
• Improve renewal playbooks, data quality, reporting, and processes.
• Own workforce planning and leadership development for the PubSec Renewal team.
• Clarify decision rights and handoffs across the customer lifecycle.
