Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Manager, Renewals to lead a team of Renewals Managers and Associates, coaching early- to mid-career professionals. You will translate renewal strategy into day-to-day actions, forecast renewal performance, and collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to protect revenue and drive growth.

This is a fully remote role with travel for events. You will foster high-performance culture, provide real-time feedback, and model GitLab’s values.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a renewals team or comparable people-management role.
• Ability to translate renewal plans into day-to-day processes.
• Strong understanding of renewals processes, pricing, and contract fundamentals.
• Experience in a fully remote, asynchronous work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day work of Renewals Managers/Associates.
• Implement renewals plans into tactical processes.
• Maintain visibility into team renewals performance in CRM for forecasting.
• Deliver precise renewal forecasting with Sales leadership.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to move renewals and expansions.
• Coach team on pricing, contract terms, whitespace, and expansion motion.
• Provide day-to-day operational decisions and escalate when needed.
• Set prioritization and ensure timely communication of team goals.
• Maintain renewal strategy aligned with company priorities.
• Remove blockers to improve team efficiency in renewals workflows.
• Model and coach GitLab's Operating Principles and remote-work best practices.
