Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Senior Manager, PubSec Renewal Team to build a predictable, customer-centered renewal business across Federal, State and Local, and Education accounts. You will lead Renewal Managers, develop leaders, and improve forecasting and operating discipline to help public sector customers realize value from GitLab.

You'll move between strategy and execution, coaching managers and partnering with Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Architecture, Finance, Legal, Deal Desk, Product,

Qualifications

Experience leading renewal teams in B2B software.
Track record of driving retention and renewal outcomes.
Familiarity with government procurement, contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead Renewal Managers to build a high-trust renewal culture.
Own PubSec renewal operating rhythm and improve forecast accuracy.
Run weekly forecast process from IC updates to leadership reviews.
Maintain forward-looking renewal risk view with mitigation plans.
Lead risk reviews and cross-functional action plans.
Improve renewal playbooks, data quality, and adoption with teams.
Own workforce planning and leadership development for the team.
Clarify decision rights and handoffs across the lifecycle.
