Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to lead and manage the development of compliant, compelling proposals in response to government solicitations. You will orchestrate the full proposal lifecycle from kickoff to submission, coordinating capture, technical SMEs, pricing, and compliance while meeting tight deadlines.

This US-remote role requires a Top Secret clearance eligibility, US citizenship, and the ability to travel up to 10% for on-site proposals.

Qualifications

• Typically, 12+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree or 8+ years relevant experience with Master's degree.
• Experience managing large-scale, complex proposals for federal government agencies.
• Understanding of FAR/DFARS and government procurement processes.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance and travel up to 10% for on-site meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal development process from kickoff to submission, ensuring milestones are met.
• Collaborate with capture managers, SMEs, pricing, partners and compliance officers.
• Develop schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices; manage Pink/Red Team processes.
• Oversee production, submission, and post-submission debriefings; drive continuous improvement.
