Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to lead the development of compliant, compelling proposals in response to government RFPs and RFIs. The role is US-remote, requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance, and demands exceptional leadership under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, developing schedules and compliance matrices, and guiding proposals from kickoff to submission while maintaining peak quality and win

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing large-scale federal proposals.
• Knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations.
• Exceptional organizational, project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development from kickoff to final delivery.
• Collaborate with capture managers, SMEs, pricing, partners, and compliance.
• Develop proposal schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices.
• Ensure proposals comply with RFP requirements and submission guidelines.
• Manage Pink Team and Red Team processes for feedback and revisions.
• Oversee production and timely submission of final documents.
• Monitor proposal status, risks, and reporting to senior management.
• Conduct post-submission debriefings for continuous improvement.
