Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with 10 years progressively more responsible experience managing projects
• PMP certification or equivalent
• Experience in direct and indirect management of large teams toward complex goals
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Strong supervisory and mentoring skills
• Strong verbal/written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Health services or public health research background

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project work plans and resource estimates with milestone tracking and quarterly forecasts
• Develop generalized project cost estimates and manage expenditures within budgets
• Negotiate resources with managers to meet project objectives and timelines
• Collaborate with project staff to ensure understanding and progress of work plans
• Ensure preparation of all project-related outputs (analyses, reports, presentations, graphics)
• Provide project progress and budget reporting to stakeholders on a monthly basis
• Assist with contracts, scope of work, and budget considerations
• Contribute to strategic discussions and development of PMO standards
