Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, quantitative social science, or management.
• Ten years of progressive project management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Experience directing large teams toward complex goals.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project work plans and resource estimates.
• Monitor milestone accomplishment and budget/resource use; re-estimate as needed.
• Review and re-estimate work plans and project resources based on contingencies; update forecasts quarterly.
• Create generalized cost estimates based on work plans and labor rates.
• Coordinate with proposal team to finalize estimates after contract award.
• Manage expenditures within budgets and fiscal year plans.
• Provide monthly progress and budget reports to stakeholders.
• Serve as day-to-day liaison to client or funder project leaders.
• Mentor Project Coordinators and Project Associates; supervise PMO standards.
• Lead the development of project management standards with PMO leadership.

Education
