Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of health research projects. This remote role requires oversight of timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams across projects in health services research.

The position reports to the PMO Manager and requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus PMP or equivalent credentials, with a strong track record in mentoring and supervising large teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, quantitative social science, or management; 10 years’ progressively responsible project management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Experience in direct and indirect management of large teams working toward complex goals.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Strong supervisory and mentoring skills.
• Demonstrated strong verbal/written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project work plans and resource estimates; monitor milestones and budgets.
• Prepare generalized project cost estimates and manage expenditures within budgets.
• Negotiate resources with managers and program directors to meet objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with project staff to ensure plan understanding and progress.
• Prepare project products and reports; ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Serve as liaison to clients or funders and provide progress and budget reporting.
