Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a remote portfolio of research projects, coordinating across functions and ensuring fiscal discipline.

You will create and maintain work plans, monitor milestones and budgets, and report progress to the PMO and funders. You’ll mentor staff and contribute to project management standards across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience managing projects and teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project work plans and task-based resource estimates.
• Monitor milestone accomplishment and budget/resource use; update forecasts quarterly.
• Negotiate resources with functional managers and senior staff to meet objectives and timelines.
• Provide monthly reports on financial and operational performance of projects.
• Mentor Project Coordinator(s) and Project Associate(s); support PMO standards development.
• Serve as Project Manager for a variety of projects across programs and contracts.
