Job summary

ManpowerEngineering is partnering with a leader in the food & beverage processing and packaging industry for a Senior Project Manager role. The position is REMOTE (Commutable distance to Champlin, MN) with up to 20% travel across the US and Canada.

Pay is $125,000 - $150,000 plus a 15–25% bonus once HIRED ON. The Senior Project Manager will lead filtration projects from pilot plants to multi-machine executions, manage budgets, and coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• 4 year engineering degree; 5+ years’ experience in Project Management
• Must be able to travel to U.S. and Canada up to 20%
• Large scale capital equipment background preferred

Responsibilities

• kickoff the project with the customer via phone meeting or in person
• initiate and develop the customer relationship from an OFCE perspective
• drive clarification of the customer’s process, floorspace, utility, component, and delivery requirements
• engineer the filtration system(s) process using what you’ll learn about filtration
• use AutoCAD to modify sales P&IDs per finalized customer requirements and engineering
• create the bill of materials based on your engineered design and communicate BOM
• drive the 3D modelling of projects with the filtration design team and coordinate with the fabricator
• financial management of project
• optimize engineered design for best performance and value
• monthly financial forecasts for labor, materials, travel costs, contingency, warranty
• make the project schedule with milestones and track progress
• coordinate with installation supervisor at conclusion of fabrication
