Job summary

ManpowerGroup is partnered with a leader in the food & beverage processing and packaging industry to recruit a Senior Project Manager. This role is remote with commutable distance to Champlin, MN, and requires up to 20% travel across the US and Canada.

The role focuses on managing filtration projects from small pilots to multi-machine installations, using AutoCAD for P&IDs, and driving BOMs, 3D modelling, and installation coordination while overseeing project financials and schedules.

Qualifications

• 4 year engineering degree; 5+ years’ experience in Project Management
• Must be able to travel to U.S. and Canada up to 20%
• Large scale capital equipment background preferred

Responsibilities

• Kickoff and manage projects with customers via phone, meeting, or in person
• Clarify customer process, floorspace, utility, component and delivery requirements
• Engineer filtration systems using learned science and review P&IDs with filtration experts
• Modify sales P&IDs in AutoCAD per final customer requirements
• Create BOM and communicate to buyer for purchasing
• Lead 3D modelling and coordinate with fabrication to ensure construction matches plan
• Manage project finances and forecast labor, materials, travel costs, contingency, warranty
• Develop project schedule with milestones and ensure adherence to budget/hours sold
• Coordinate with installation supervisor at fabrication completion
