Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst to ensure financial accuracy and efficient billing workflows in a fully remote, full-time role. You will support invoicing, cost tracking, and reporting across projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in financial project controls, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented, analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial project controls, project accounting, or related roles.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis, modeling, and complex spreadsheet creation.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills including variance analysis and trend identification.
• Excellent communication skills to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple deadlines.
• Customer service mindset with a positive, resourceful attitude.
• Familiarity with project management principles and billing methodologies preferred.
• Understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help manage financial reporting ensuring accuracy and alignment with project expectations and terms.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes by partnering with internal teams.
• Maintain accurate billing documentation for invoicing and audit purposes.
• Manage data scripts to enter contractor and subcontractor hours with precision; support hour migration between systems.
• Manage accounts payable process with key subcontractors.
• Assist in the development and implementation of automation tools for process improvement related to reporting, billing and workflow.
• Generate financial reports and analysis to support projects as needed.
• Assist with reconciling project costs, revenue, labor charges, and vendor invoices.
• Track accounts receivable, monitor outstanding payments and reconcile accounts.
• Other duties as assigned.
