Job summary

Milliman MedInsight is seeking a Senior Product Strategist to lead product strategy and commercialization for payer offerings. Translate market insights into differentiated roadmaps in partnership with TPMs, GMs, and cross-functional leaders.

You will guide market opportunities, define product strategy, and support annual business planning for new capabilities, while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Executive Leadership to maximize commercial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5-8+ years of experience in product strategy, product management, healthcare consulting, or commercial strategy within healthcare technology, SaaS, or analytics serving payer organizations.
• Strong understanding of product strategy, commercialization, product development lifecycles, and portfolio planning.
• Deep knowledge of payer operations, healthcare data, claims analytics, and health plan workflows, with the ability to translate market needs into product strategy and roadmaps.
• Experience evaluating market opportunities, developing business cases, and prioritizing product investments using commercial and financial analysis (e.g., TAM/SAM/SOM).
• Experience launching and commercializing enterprise SaaS or healthcare analytics solutions for payer organizations is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience using BI or data visualization tools; SQL is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction of MedInsight's payer portfolio with 12-24 month roadmaps.
• Partner with GM, TPMs, Engineering, Marketing to align investments with market needs.
• Drive commercialization plans including pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies.
• Guide market validation and business case development to enable product execution.
• Identify AI-enabled capabilities to improve value and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align stakeholders and drive initiatives.
• Define scalable service, support, and operating models for client adoption.
