Job summary

Milliman MedInsight invites a Senior Product Strategist to lead the strategy and commercialization of payer products. You will translate market insights and client needs into differentiated roadmaps in collaboration with TPMs, GMs, and cross-functional leaders.

The role emphasizes strategic product leadership with deep payer expertise, strong commercial judgment, and market insight to identify growth opportunities and deliver innovative healthcare solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5-8+ years in product strategy, management, healthcare consulting, or commercial strategy within healthcare tech, SaaS, or analytics for payer orgs.
• Strong understanding of product strategy and lifecycle management; portfolio planning.
• Deep knowledge of payer operations, healthcare data, and claims analytics.
• Experience with market opportunity evaluation and business cases (TAM/SAM/SOM).
• Experience launching enterprise SaaS/healthcare analytics for payers is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic direction for MedInsight's payer portfolio and translate insights into differentiated products.
• Collaborate with TPMs, GMs, and cross-functional leaders to develop 12-24 month roadmaps.
• Lead commercialization by shaping positioning, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market plans.
• Guide investments from market discovery through commercialization and post-launch analytics.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and client services to validate opportunities and maximize adoption.
• Lead market validation, business case development, and requirements for PM and engineering teams.
• Identify opportunities for AI-enabled capabilities and scalable operating models.
• Act as payer product subject matter expert in client engagements and market-facing activities.
