Ladders is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Payroll Platform to lead modernization of a mission-critical payroll system in a remote role based in the United States. You will protect payroll accuracy, stability, and compliance while partnering with engineering and leadership to redesign core data structures and set governance standards.

In this role, you will drive evidence-based decisions about system changes, focusing on data access controls, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in HCM or payroll platforms.
• Experience coordinating with multiple teams on system contracts.
• Strong rollout discipline including parallel runs and user acceptance testing.
• Technical proficiency to discuss database schemas and APIs with engineers.
• Experience in regulated environments with sensitive data.
• Evidence-driven decision-making with measurable outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Own modernizing the payroll platform without risking operations.
• Assess legacy systems costs and impact on payroll performance.
• Lead payroll data model redesign with engineering.
• Establish access and audit protocols; manage compliance and data retention.
