Job summary

BambooHR is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to own payroll platform modernization and data-model redesign within our HR platform.

You will collaborate with payroll engineering leadership to sequence migrations, balance cost of legacy systems, and ensure governance, security, and compliance across the payroll domain. You will lead a cross-functional effort across multiple teams, establish a quarterly roadmap, and publish retention and auditing decisions, while ensuring robust controls and latency

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in PaaS/HCM/payroll domain preferred.
• Experience coordinating with downstream consumers at scale across many teams.
• Rollout discipline: parallel runs, instant rollback, user acceptance testing, release trains.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll platform modernization: decide what moves and when to replace.
• Price the cost of keeping old systems running, including escalations and risk of missed pay dates.
• Own payroll data-model redesign in collaboration with engineering; validate against canonical entity models.
