Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking a Senior Principal Statistical Programmer to lead advanced programming efforts supporting clinical trials and DMC deliverables. You will design, develop, and standardize outputs while providing expert guidance across projects.

You will mentor staff, drive regulatory-compliant processes, collaborate with biostatistics and study teams, and contribute to submissions and CDISC standards in a remote US setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of statistical programming experience in a clinical trial environment.
• Deep expertise in SAS programming for regulatory deliverables.
• Proficiency in R programming.
• Experience with CDISC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex programming efforts across studies.
• Experience mentoring staff and driving technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical expert in statistical programming across studies.
• Design, develop, validate, and oversee complex programming deliverables (datasets, tables, listings, figures).
• Lead DMC macros and programming standards.
• Provide oversight to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Drive programming standards and process improvements.
• Collaborate with biostatistics and study teams for complex trial designs.
• Mentor statistics programming staff and provide technical leadership.
• Coordinate programming activities across multiple studies.
• Support regulatory submissions and inspection readiness.
