Job summary

WCG is seeking a Senior Principal Statistical Programmer to act as a senior technical leader in statistical programming for clinical trials and DMC deliverables. You will design, develop, and standardize high‑quality outputs, while guiding projects and shaping programming best practices across teams.

Candidates should have 8–10 years in clinical trial programming, expert SAS, strong R skills, CDISC experience, and a proven ability to mentor staff. This is a remote US role with limited travel.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; equivalent combination considered.
• 8–10 years of statistical programming in a clinical trial environment.
• Deep SAS programming expertise for regulatory deliverables.
• Proficiency in R programming.
• Experience with CDISC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to lead complex programming across studies.
• Experience mentoring staff and driving technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex programming deliverables including datasets, tables, listings, and figures.
• Develop and standardize DMC macros and programming standards.
• Provide technical oversight to ensure quality and compliance across deliverables.
• Collaborate with biostatistics and study teams on trial designs and DMC reporting.
• Mentor statistical programming staff and guide best practices.
• Support regulatory submissions and inspection readiness.
• Drive process improvements and automation for efficiency.
