Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Principal Statistical Programmer to lead complex programming initiatives for clinical trials. This role combines hands-on SAS/R programming with technical leadership across multiple studies, ensuring high-quality regulatory Deliverables and CDISC-compliant outputs.

You will mentor staff and shape programming standards. The position supports remote work in the US and collaborates with biostatistics, data management, and IT to drive automation

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; equivalent combination of education and directly relevant professional experience may be considered.
• 8–10 years of statistical programming experience in a clinical trial environment.
• Deep SAS programming expertise including regulatory deliverables; proficiency in R.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex programming efforts across studies and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Design, validate, and oversee complex statistical programming deliverables (datasets, tables, listings, figures).
• Lead development, validation, and standardization of DMC macros and programming standards.
• Provide technical oversight for programming work to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency.
• Drive programming standards, best practices, and process improvements across projects.
• Collaborate with biostatistics and study teams to support complex trial designs and DMC reporting.
