Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company in California is seeking a Senior Presales Systems Engineer to join the Federal Civilian Agencies team. This remote/teleworker role focuses on campus and branch networking, WAN, and security, delivering end-to-end technical designs and customer engagements.

You will lead discovery, translate requirements into architectures, and present solutions with a strong emphasis on performance and security. Willingness to travel within the United States is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Significant pre-sales systems engineering or solution consulting experience in enterprise or cloud-focused environments.
• Deep experience in campus and branch networking (wired, wireless, WAN, security, and network access control).

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior pre-sales technical advisor for Federal Civilian Agency customers, with emphasis on campus, branch, WAN, security, and access control architectures.
• Lead customer discovery and translate business, operational, and technical requirements into solution architectures and roadmaps.
• Design and present solutions spanning wired and wireless campus networking, branch networking, WAN, security, NAC, automation, and cloud-managed operations.
• Build and deliver technical proposals, presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Articulate HPE Networking differentiation and position solutions against competitors.
• Engage with internal engineering, product management, services, and partner teams to align solutions to customer outcomes.
• Travel regularly to customer sites, internal meetings, and strategic events.
