Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Senior Presales Systems Engineer for Federal Civilian Agencies, focusing on campus/branch networking, WAN, and security. This remote role supports US customers, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.
Extensive pre-sales systems engineering or solution consulting in enterprise/clouds.
Deep experience in campus and branch networking (wired/wireless).
Strong knowledge of WAN, security, and network access control capabilities.
Experience with Juniper Junos and Mist; API knowledge is a plus.
Ability to travel across the United States for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

Serve as the senior pre-sales technical advisor for Federal Civilian Agency customers.
Partner with Account Managers to qualify and drive opportunities from discovery to close.
Lead customer discovery, translating requirements into solution roadmaps.
Design and present solutions across campus networking, WAN, and security.
Build technical proposals, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
Articulate HPE Networking differentiation against competitors.
Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions to outcomes.
Maintain awareness of market trends and emerging technologies.
Develop trusted relationships with customer engineers and decision-makers.
Support channel and partner engagement to extend reach.
Travel regularly to customer sites and strategic events.
