Job summary

HPE Aruba Networking is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to support enterprise customers across Texas. This role blends technical leadership with consultative selling to design and present networking solutions that meet business needs.

You will collaborate with Territory Managers, channel partners, and internal teams to deliver POCs, architecture docs, and compelling proposals, while staying current on Aruba and Juniper solutions and cutting-edge AI-driven operations trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in networking.
• 5+ years in pre-sales, systems engineering, or related networking roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise sales teams in customer-facing environments.
• Experience designing or supporting enterprise networking solutions.
• Strong background in routing, switching, wireless and network security.
• Experience with channel partners, VARs, or systems integrators preferred.
• Industry certifications such as Aruba, HPE, Cisco, Juniper or Fortinet preferred.
• Resident in Texas; Dallas area preferred.
• Ability to travel ~40–60% across territory.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Territory Managers to identify, qualify and advance opportunities to closure.
• Design networking solutions aligned to business and technical requirements for enterprise customers.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, customer presentations, demos, and workshops.
• Develop solution architectures, recommendations, and customer proposals.
• Deliver POCs, demonstrations, and solution validations to showcase capabilities.
• Position solutions against competitors and communicate differentiators.
• Support RFP responses and complex customer engagements.
• Collaborate with channel partners, resellers and internal teams to drive revenue and success.
• Build trusted advisor relationships across technical and business stakeholders.
• Stay current on networking tech and emerging Aruba/Junos solutions.
