Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. is seeking a Senior Application Sales Engineer – Power Transformers. Remote role available anywhere in the United States.

You will partner with regional sales managers, MELCO, EPCs, and utility customers to identify and win new business opportunities. You will develop customer relationships, conduct technical presentations, prepare budgetary and firm proposals, and support pricing and negotiations.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of technical sales experience in electrical equipment, power transformers, substation equipment, or related utility products.
• Proven success developing customer relationships and supporting complex technical sales pursuits.
• Knowledge of power transformers, substation equipment, and electric utility infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities by partnering with regional sales managers, MELCO, manufacturers' representatives, EPCs, and utility customers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and EPC organizations nationwide.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase MEPPI capabilities.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial budgetary and firm proposals in response to customer inquiries and RFQs.
• Support proposal strategy, pricing development, contract negotiations, and customer discussions.
• Research market pricing and competitive trends to develop effective commercial strategies.
• Define and develop technical solutions aligned with customer requirements and MEPPI/MELCO offerings.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to develop customized solutions.
