Virginia Transformer Corp is seeking an experienced EPC Sales Engineer to manage and grow relationships with EPC firms. You will identify opportunities, craft technical proposals, and lead negotiations on complex transformer projects across North America.

The role requires a deep understanding of transformer products, strong relationship skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in power systems or electrical equipment.
• Willingness to travel 50-70%.
• Experience with EPC firms and complex sales cycles.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key EPC firms across utility, renewable, and industrial markets.
• Identify project opportunities and position Virginia Transformer as the preferred transformer supplier.
• Interpret technical specifications and work with internal teams to develop tailored solutions.
• Prepare and present technical proposals, bids, and pricing packages.
• Lead or support technical and commercial negotiations with EPC partners and end users.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and manufacturing teams to ensure on-time and quality execution.
• Track market developments, project pipelines, and competitor activity.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, site visits, industry events, and trade shows.
