Job summary

Dexian DISYS is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst for a fully remote role. You will optimize payroll processes, document SOPs, and ensure accurate payroll processing across multiple states.

The role requires strong payroll knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to work with timekeeping systems and tax calculations. You will handle off-cycle payments, garnishments, and year-end balancing while maintaining confidential data.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in payroll processing.
• ADP EV6 and Enterprise E*time experience preferred.
• CPP preferred or related certification encouraged.
• Experience with federal, state, and local payroll taxes.
• Multi-state payroll experience and wage garnishment experience.
• Knowledge of labor laws pertaining to payroll.
• Intermediate Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate payroll processing in accordance with deadlines and procedures.
• Balance earnings and deductions to control totals and correct imbalances.
• Maintain complete payroll files and confidentiality of information.
• Audit payroll reports to identify issues or errors.
• Create standard and ad-hoc payroll reports.
• Resolve issues and correct errors; explain root causes.
• Research multi-state payroll tax compliance and liaise with tax services.
• Process off-cycles, termination pay, direct deposits reversals, and garnishments.
• Set up and administer the timekeeping system; ensure accuracy.
• Document payroll processes and seek continuous efficiency improvements.
• Handle payroll inquiries within SLA and collaborate across teams.
• Perform quarter/year-end tax balancing and processing.
• Ensure HIPAA-related data handling and integrity.
