Job summary

Safelite is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Remote Payroll Analyst to support accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across a multi-state, multi-company environment.

This role handles processing, reconciliations, reporting, compliance, payroll system support, and resolving complex payroll and timekeeping issues while partnering with employees, managers, internal teams, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of payroll experience in a multi-state, high-volume environment.
• Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and accounting principles.
• Intermediate Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Process regular, off-cycle, and annual payroll accurately and on time.
• Resolve complex payroll, tax, timekeeping, and reconciliation issues.
• Support payroll system implementations, upgrades, testing, and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate payroll and timekeeping records.
• Provide payroll guidance to employees, managers, and external vendors.
