Job summary

Ensono seeks an Expert Observability Engineer to lead and architect enterprise observability, APM, and telemetry ecosystems across hybrid cloud and Kubernetes. You will design scalable architectures, drive SRE practices, and oversee FOAK technology implementations to ensure maximum service reliability.

Operate across hybrid cloud environments, lead complex migrations, and mentor global teams while promoting secure-by-design telemetry pipelines and automated workflows.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of total IT experience
• 5–7 years functioning as a Lead Architect, SRE, or Principal Observability Engineer in a large enterprise
• Proven track record migrating organizations to proactive observability platforms
• Hands-on experience building scalable telemetry pipelines and time-series databases
• FOAK rollouts and complex vendor/operations transitions (KT) are typical

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern a unified observability framework across metrics, logs, traces, and events
• Lead FOAK implementations and evaluate new observability tech
• Define telemetry standards, data retention, and cost management
• Define and govern SLIs/SLOs and lead incident war rooms with RCAs
• Drive Observability-as-Code and automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and GitOps
• Automate deployment/config for monitoring agents and telemetry collectors
• Integrate observability platforms with ITSM/ServiceNow and CI/CD pipelines
• Design observability for Kubernetes, multi-cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Mentor teams and manage knowledge transfer for global 24x7 operations
• Lead complex vendor transitions and transition readiness
