Job summary

Ensono is seeking an Expert Observability Engineer to lead enterprise observability, SRE, and telemetry initiatives across hybrid cloud and Kubernetes environments. You will architect scalable, secure telemetry pipelines and drive FOAK implementations while mentoring global teams.

The role emphasizes Observability-as-Code, automation, and integration with ITSM and CI/CD processes. Strong leadership and cloud-native expertise are required, with a focus on reliability and scalable design.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of total IT experience.
• 5–7 years as Lead Architect, SRE, or Principal Observability Engineer.
• Proven migration from legacy monitoring to proactive observability platforms.
• Hands-on with telemetry pipelines and time-series databases.
• Experience leading FOAK rollouts and vendor/operations transitions.
• Certifications: Kubernetes Admin, Cloud Architect, or APM/vendor certs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern a unified observability framework.
• Lead FOAK implementations and evaluate new tech.
• Define telemetry standards, data retention, and cost management.
• Define SLIs/SLOs and lead incident war rooms and RCAs.
• Drive Observability-as-Code and automation with Ansible/Terraform/Python.
• Integrate observability with ITSM, CI/CD, and security practices.
• Design observability for Kubernetes, multi-cloud, and secure pipelines.
