Job summary

Ensono is seeking an Expert Observability Engineer to lead our enterprise observability, APM, and telemetry efforts. You will drive the transformation from decentralized monitoring to a unified, automated SRE-driven framework across hybrid cloud, Kubernetes, and legacy environments.

You will design scalable architectures, lead FOAK technology implementations, and ensure maximum service reliability. You will drive Observability-as-Code via Ansible, Terraform, Python, and GitOps, automating

Qualifications

• 12+ years of total IT experience with 5–7 years as Lead Architect, SRE, or Principal Observability Engineer in a large enterprise.
• Proven track record migrating organizations from legacy monitoring to proactive observability platforms.
• Hands-on expertise building scalable, secure telemetry pipelines and time-series databases.
• Extensive experience leading FOAK rollouts and vendor/operations transition programs.
• Preferred Certifications: Kubernetes Administrator, Cloud Architect (AWS/Azure) or vendor observability certs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern a unified observability framework covering metrics, logs, traces, and events.
• Lead FOAK implementations and evaluate new observability tech for secure, repeatable patterns.
• Define telemetry standards, data retention, high-cardinality controls, and cost management.
