Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to serve as a high-level technical escalation point for NG911 call-taking and dispatching solutions.

This US-based remote role requires diagnosing complex system architecture, networking, and telephony issues impacting public safety operations. You will work with Product Development and Field Services to validate emerging technologies, maintain lab configurations, and optimize system reliability; a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of technical support experience.
• Experience with NG911 Call Taking or Dispatching is preferred.
• Must pass CJIS security requirements and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 4 technical support and escalation for NG911 solutions.
• Dissect system architectures, server infrastructure, and databases.
• Manage and resolve complex trouble tickets with clear communication.
• Interface with Product Development and Technical Services for validation.
• Maintain lab configurations and document workflows and MOPs.
• Deliver corporate-level technical training to support centers.
• Participate in on-call rotations and travel to customer sites as needed.
