Melaleuca: The Wellness Company is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our global network infrastructure. You will join a team of engineers, provide technical expertise, and ensure stability and scalability of our network.

This role emphasizes high-level planning, configuration, and optimization, with opportunities to mentor peers and lead initiatives. You will work remotely while collaborating with stakeholders and other IT teams.

Qualifications

• Remote role; must reside in or relocate to Idaho or Utah.
• 6+ years networking and troubleshooting in a multiprotocol environment.
• 5+ years router/switch tech and routing protocols (BGP, MPLS, EIGRP).
• 4+ years LANs/WANs/WLANs/VPNs/DHCP experience.
• 3+ years with network security (IPS/IDS, IPsec VPN).
• CCNP preferred.
• Experience with monitoring/logging systems (SolarWinds, Splunk, ThousandEyes, AppDynamics).
• Experience with Cisco Nexus 9k/7k/5k, ISR, ASR.
• Meraki wireless experience.
• Strong leadership; independent; good communication; works under stress.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and support network projects; document migration plans.
• Guide traditional and SDN networking strategies, interconnectivity and best practices.
• Define requirements with business stakeholders and resolve issues.
• Configure Cisco routers, switches, wireless, remote access, WAN devices.
• Promote new technologies to support business needs and educate peers.
• Maintain current network documentation and configurations.
• Monitor global network for outages and tune performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and update scheduling for devices.
• Coordinate with carriers for circuit turn-ups and migrations.
• Be on-call rotation and travel if needed.
• Manage tasks in ticketing system to meet OLAs/SLAs.
• Promote teamwork and cross-group cooperation.
• Stay updated on emerging network trends.
