Job summary

RedHelm in Pittsburgh is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support enterprise networks for MSP clients. You will work with Cisco, Meraki, SonicWall, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and HP Aruba, with Azure networking exposure, across on-prem and cloud environments.

This role requires 7+ years IT, 5+ years network engineering, strong routing/switching/Wi-Fi skills, and MSP experience. Remote work eligible with travel up to 50% to client sites; ETZ preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in progressive network engineering.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco, Meraki, SonicWall, and other vendors.
• Experience with Azure networking and multi-tenant environments.
• MSP experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-class network infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot gear from Cisco, Meraki, SonicWall, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Extreme, and Aruba.
• Implement routing, switching, and wireless solutions for high availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business goals.
• Produce network diagrams and configuration standards.
• Participate in capacity planning and risk assessments.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies.
