Jobot is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong .NET (C#) background and PHP/Laravel experience to join our fast-growing SaaS platform. This fully remote role supports a U.S.

customer base and involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend services while bridging two technologies. You will build RESTful APIs, mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and help shape architectural decisions in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET (C#).
• Hands-on experience with PHP/Laravel.
• Experience with React or Angular.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.
• Ability to balance technical debt with business priorities.
• Able to work independently in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in a SaaS environment.
• Build features using .NET (C#) while supporting PHP/Laravel apps.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and business logic.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver functionality.
• Translate requirements into production-quality code.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and promote engineering best practices.
