Jobot is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong .NET (C#) background and experience in PHP/Laravel to design and maintain backend services for our mature SaaS platform in a fully remote role.

You will collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering to build RESTful APIs, mentor teammates, and help evolve the technology stack across .NET and PHP/Laravel in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET (C#).
• Hands-on with PHP/Laravel.
• Experience with React or Angular.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.
• Ability to balance technical debt with business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in a SaaS environment.
• Build features using .NET (C#) while supporting PHP/Laravel.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and business logic.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver functionality.
• Translate requirements into production-quality code.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and drive engineering best practices.
