Jobot is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in .NET (C#) and PHP/Laravel to design, develop, and maintain backend services for a mature SaaS platform. You will build features in .NET while supporting PHP/Laravel apps and RESTful APIs across a scalable system.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET (C#).
• Hands-on experience with PHP/Laravel.
• Experience with React (preferred) or Angular.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.
• Ability to balance technical debt with business priorities.
• Comfortable working independently in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in a SaaS environment.
• Build new features primarily using .NET (C#) while also supporting existing PHP/Laravel applications.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and business logic.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver new functionality.
• Review project requirements and translate technical specifications into production-quality code.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and help drive engineering best practices.
