Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in .NET (C#) and PHP/Laravel to design, develop, and maintain backend services for a mature SaaS platform. You will build new features in .NET while supporting existing PHP/Laravel apps, and collaborate across Product, QA, and Engineering to deliver scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience, expertise in RESTful APIs, and a solid grasp of system architecture.

Qualifications

7+ years of software development experience.
Strong experience with .NET (C#).
Hands-on experience developing applications with PHP/Laravel.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Experience with React (preferred) or Angular.
Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.
Ability to balance technical debt with business priorities.
Comfortable working independently in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in a SaaS environment.
Build features primarily using .NET (C#) while also supporting existing PHP/Laravel applications.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and business logic.
Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver new functionality.
Review project requirements and translate technical specifications into production-quality code.
Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers and help drive engineering best practices.
